About Me, I'm Katja
My name is Katja, and my journey to becoming a fitness expert has been anything but ordinary. Born in Germany, I began as a police officer before moving to California in 1996 with my 6-week-old daughter.
A lifelong athlete, I’ve competed in equestrian sports, triathlons, and Spartan races. My passion for health and fitness led me to become a trainer over 20 years ago, helping people build strength, mobility, and resilience.
In my 40s, I realized that staying fit required more than just being active and eating healthy—it needed structured strength training to prevent burnout, weight gain, and injuries. Now in my 50s, I focus on smart, sustainable training that prioritizes longevity.
I specialize in coaching women over 40 to reclaim their strength and vitality. My programs emphasize functional movement and mobility, ensuring my clients stay strong for life.
One of my passions is helping equestrians improve their riding performance and prevent injuries. I designed this 6-week equestrian fitness course to enhance stability, endurance, and strength in the saddle.
